Job summary

Thryv NZ is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across Auckland. You will prospect, cold-call and meet business owners to sell digital marketing and management solutions, SEO, AEO, SEM and social media. Own the full sales cycle from first contact to close and onboarding.

You’ll build your own pipeline from day one, with a guaranteed 50% OTE for the first three months and a total package of NZD 135.6K with potential up to 5 x 45K in OTE for top performers.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales track record in field selling.
• Experience with digital marketing solutions is highly desirable.
• Ability to build a pipeline from scratch and close new business.
• Strong consultative selling skills and ability to manage a territory.
• Comfort with presenting digital platforms to business owners.

Responsibilities

• Build your own pipeline from scratch through cold calling, online research, networking and referrals.
• Prospect through multiple channels to engage SMBs in NZ.
• Meet clients face-to-face or virtually to present tailored digital marketing solutions.
• Manage full sales cycle from first contact to close and onboarding.
• Hit and exceed monthly new business targets and plan territory effectively.
