Placements24 is seeking a Pipeline Integrity Engineer to safeguard a major pipeline network by leading integrity management programs in Queenstown. You will perform risk assessments, oversee inspections, and direct repair strategies to prevent failures and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires expertise in corrosion engineering, materials science, or mechanical engineering, with experience in integrity software and field oversight.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in pipeline engineering with integrity management.
• Knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, metallurgy, and NDT methods for pipelines.
• Familiar with ASME B31.4/B31.8, CSA Z662 codes and standards.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement pipeline integrity management plans (PIMPs).
• Conduct RBAs to identify threats to pipeline integrity (corrosion, cracking, third-party interference).
• Plan and analyze results from ILI tools and NDT methods.
• Oversee coating inspection and cathodic protection monitoring.
• Evaluate condition of pipeline assets and recommend repair or rehabilitation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with pipeline safety regulations and industry standards.
• Manage external service providers for integrity assessments and repairs.
• Investigate incidents and contribute to root-cause analysis.
