Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Well Integrity Engineer to join a remote team focused on the long-term safety and reliability of wells in a global Oil & Gas portfolio. You will develop and implement strategies to maintain well integrity across the lifecycle, preventing leaks and protecting the environment.

Collaborating with drilling, production and maintenance teams, you will run robust inspection, testing and intervention programs from a distance, ensuring compliance with API/ISO standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in well integrity, well operations, or related Oil & Gas.
• Knowledge of API and ISO standards for well integrity.
• Experience with well integrity software and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement well integrity management systems (WIMS).
• Conduct risk assessments to identify threats and mitigation strategies.
• Plan and oversee testing, monitoring, and inspection activities.
• Analyze pressure tests, caliper logs, and corrosion data.
• Provide remote technical support to drilling and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive well integrity management systems (WIMS) and programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in well integrity , well operations, or related fields within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong understanding of well construction, completion, and abandonment principles.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., API, ISO) related to well integrity.
• Experience with well integrity software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
