Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a field-based Pest Controller in New Zealand to inspect sites, plan treatments, and advise customers on prevention and hygiene practices. You will travel within Whanganui, Palmerston North, and surrounding areas, with a company vehicle, fuel card, and mobile provided to support daily travel.

Qualifications

• Must have full-time, permanent work rights in NZ.
• Nice-to-have NZ Pest Operations certificate and relevant licences.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Physically fit with focus on health and safety, able to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough site inspections to identify pest activity and determine treatment plans.
• Apply pest control solutions and advise customers on prevention/management.
• Identify hygiene/environmental risks to create safer, healthier spaces.
• Accurately complete digital service reports post-visit.
• Deliver outstanding, professional customer service.
• Identify opportunities to recommend additional value-adding services.
