Job summary

Fulton Hogan in Auckland seeks a Driver Operator to operate plant and support the crew on site. You will perform machine operating and general labouring tasks, work with your Foreperson or Supervisor, and help keep projects moving safely and on schedule.

This hands-on role requires a practical mindset, safety focus, and team spirit. You’ll complete pre-starts, risk planning, and follow environmental and quality processes, reporting incidents and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• You will operate plant and machinery under supervision, and perform general labouring tasks.
• You will participate in pre-starts and risk planning and follow safety, environmental and quality processes on site.
• You will report incidents and near misses and contribute to safer ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant and machinery as directed by your Foreperson or Supervisor.
• Complete labouring tasks such as lifting, moving materials, and other site duties.
• Take part in pre-starts, risk planning, and follow safety, environmental, and quality processes on site.
• Report incidents, accidents, and near misses, and speak up if something does not look right.
• Look for better, safer ways of working and contribute positively to the team.
