Job summary

Halter is seeking a Product Manager to join our Virtual Fencing team. You’ll become an expert in virtual fencing, understanding how farmers and ranchers use the tech in practice and turning insights into elegant features that improve farm operations.

You don’t necessarily need prior Product Management experience, but you must understand farming, be curious, and enjoy solving hard problems while communicating clearly with engineers and farmers alike.

Qualifications

• You have farm experience or worked closely with farmers.
• You are curious, hungry to learn, and love solving hard problems.
• You can communicate concepts clearly to engineers, farmers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Get out on farms to understand farmers' real needs and how Halter fits in.
• Translate insights into elegant features for the virtual fencing product.
• Help decide what to build next, prioritising impact on farm operations.
• Work with Product, Engineering and Design to ship features.
• Ensure new features land well from rollout through adoption.
