Job summary

Halter is seeking a Product Manager for the Virtual Fencing team. You’ll deeply understand farmers’ needs and translate those insights into elegant features that help farmers run their operations.

This role sits at the intersection of technology and farming, with you becoming an expert in virtual fencing and how farmers use it in practice. You’ll regularly visit farms, talk to farmers about their operations, and help decide what to build next, prioritizing what makes the biggest difference on

Qualifications

• Experience working on a farm (farm assistant, herd manager, rural role, etc.).
• Curious, hungry to learn, and passionate about agriculture.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on farm talking to farmers to understand operations.
• Translate farmer needs into features for the Virtual Fencing product.
• Prioritize work based on impact on farm efficiency and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers and Designers to ship features.
• Ensure new features land well with farmers from rollout to adoption.
