We are looking for a farm assistant to join our team on a family owned and operated dairy farm, 30km from Ashburton. The position would involve working alongside fellow team members with dairy cows and young stock. Tasks include milking and shed cleaning, working with all stock classes (shifting and feeding) and general farm work including weed spraying and maintenance. A positive and polite attitude, a keenness to learn and grow, coupled with a strong work ethic is a must. Experience driving tractors and motorbikes would be helpful.
We are looking for someone to cover through until January. While some farming experience would be preferred, training will be provided.
Accommodation is provided. You will require your own transport for personal use.
