Job summary

Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland invites applications for a part-time Violence Intervention Programme Coordinator for Family Violence Intervention (VIP) at Te Puaruruhau, Starship Child Health. The role leads change, supports staff, and ensures delivery of VIP across Te Toka Tumai.

The successful candidate will co-facilitate trainings, oversee documentation, engage multi-agency partners and contribute to policy development.

Qualifications

• Experienced facilitator/teacher within an adult learning environment.
• Holds a qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Works well within a small team and health system knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Foster consistent communication between the team, Te Toka Tumai, and partner agencies.
• Co-facilitate full day trainings.
• Manage and talk staff through the documentation process.
• Implement VIP programme to new areas and support policy review and development.
• Explore new approaches to position intimate partner violence as a health issue.
