Papakura Marae invites applicants to join the Family Start team to support whānau with pēpi and tamariki through home visiting and holistic care within the Papakura community.

We value a social worker who is registered or eligible for registration and has a passion for whanau. The role offers a whanau-focused, community-driven environment with ongoing professional development.

Are you a social worker, or near graduation and looking for the next challenge? Interested in working within a Marae-based, and whanau-centered team that does what it takes in the community? Nau mai ki Papakura Marae!

We are looking for practitioners who have a passion for serving whanau, and can see themselves practicing with families in the Papakura community.

You may have recently graduated, or have senior-level experience - we want to hear from you.

Family Start is an early home visiting programme with a focus on whanau with pepi and tamariki. The programme seeks to improve outcomes for whanau, tamariki health, relationships and education, taking an all-of-whanau approach to implementing care and support.

Our team are dedicated to whanau, and go above and beyond to foster thriving tamariki and whanau in our community.

Criteria

Social work qualification, and either registered, or eligible for registration.
