Job summary

Babcock Australasia based in Devonport, Auckland, is seeking a Deputy Facilities Security Officer to protect people, information and assets in a Defence-focused environment. You will support security operations, manage access controls, coordinate security clearances and drive a culture of compliance.

The role offers broad exposure across risk management, incident response, audits and assurance activities, with supervision by the Security & Asset Manager and collaboration with Defence

Qualifications

• Experience in defence, government or highly regulated environments.
• Ability to manage risk assessment methodologies and incident management processes.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Proactive in identifying risks and driving improvements.

• Support security operations and protective security measures.
• Manage access controls and coordinate security clearances.
• Contribute to compliance, audits and assurance activities.
