Babcock Australasia in Auckland is seeking a Deputy Facilities Security Officer to join the Security team in Devonport. You will protect people, information and assets in a Defence-focused environment, support security operations, manage access controls, and coordinate security clearances.

You should bring experience in Defence or regulated environments, knowledge of protective security principles and risk assessment, and be prepared for extensive stakeholder engagement and continuous

Qualifications

• Experience in Defence, government, or highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of protective security principles and risk assessment methodologies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NZ Defence Security Clearance; strong stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Support security operations and incident response across a Defence-focused environment.
• Manage access controls and coordinate security clearances.
• Contribute to compliance, investigations, audits and assurance activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to enhance security posture.
