You will work with the Team Manager and Coordinator, uphold tikanga and cultural competency, and use MS Office and client management systems to deliver outcomes for Māori whānau.
We’re looking for a passionate and committed individual to join our Te Pae Oranga team. This role involves facilitating and supporting case referrals from NZ Police to Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) as part of the iwi and community panels initiative.
Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is a kaupapa Māori, Ngāti Kahungunu-mandated organisation delivering health, social, education, and community development services, based in Heretaunga Hawkes Bay. For over 40 years, we’ve been working alongside whānau to support their wellbeing and aspirations.
Te Pae Oranga is a culturally grounded, restorative justice initiative that upholds the mana of all involved. The role requires you to walk alongside victims, participants, their whānau/support networks, NZ Police, and other community providers to facilitate meaningful outcomes.
You will report to the Team Manager and work closely with the Te Pae Oranga Coordinator. This role suits someone who is empathetic, assertive, non-judgmental, and able to connect with people from all walks of life.
This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a kaupapa Māori approach to justice that restores balance and supports whānau wellbeing.
You’ll be part of a supportive team committed to making a real difference in our community.
