Job summary

Vulcan in Hamilton is seeking an Extrusion Operator to join our permanent, full-time team. You will operate aluminium extrusion machinery, monitor product quality, and help keep production running safely and efficiently.

This role runs Monday–Friday 6:30am–2:30pm with guaranteed hours and weekly pay. We value hard work and offer a supportive, flat-structure environment within Australasia's trusted metals brand.

Qualifications

• Experience operating extrusion machinery or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read production specifications and work instructions.
• Experience with machine setup, adjustments and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion machinery.
• Carry out quality checks and basic machine adjustments.
• Load raw materials and monitor production runs.
• Complete routine machine cleaning and maintenance.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
