Job summary

JetX, part of JK Building Wash, in Christchurch, is seeking a physically fit Technician to perform waterblasting and exterior cleaning across commercial, rural, and residential sites. This outdoors role includes frequent work at heights and a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

A strong work ethic and positive attitude are important; experience is helpful but not essential, and there is a commitment to ongoing training and safe practices.

Qualifications

• Physically fit, injury-free, capable of strenuous outdoor work.
• Current full and clean New Zealand driver’s license.
• Permanent work rights in New Zealand with no restrictions.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Able to complete a Ministry of Justice check.

Responsibilities

• Waterblasting and exterior cleaning across residential and commercial sites
• Completing steam cleaning, treatment applications and restoration cleaning as required
• Setting up and packing down equipment, and keeping gear well-maintained
• Frequently working at heights, including on ladders, elevated work platforms, roofs, and similar work areas
• Following safe work practices and site-specific safety requirements at all times
• Delivering great customer service and taking pride in a high-quality finish
• Working occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends when required
