Keith Andrews Trucks is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our Palmerston North workshop. You’ll diagnose faults, carry out repairs and servicing across a range of heavy diesel vehicles, ensuring safety and reliability for our customers.

Working with the latest brands and a supportive team, you’ll perform diagnostics, use diagnostic tools, and maintain accurate service records. We offer continuous training, a competitive remuneration package and opportunities for career progression.

Formación

• Qualified experienced Automotive Technician.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with diesel engines or heavy vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and workshop best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair faults across diesel engines and vehicle systems
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Complete job documentation and maintain accurate service records
• Communicate with Service Advisors and customers regarding repairs
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient workshop environment

About The Role

As a Diesel Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers’ trucks and commercial vehicles running safely and efficiently. Working in our well-equipped Palmerston North workshop, you’ll diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and complete servicing across a range of heavy diesel vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults across diesel engines and vehicle systems
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Complete job documentation and maintain accurate service records
• Communicate with Service Advisors and customers regarding repairs
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient workshop environment
