Job summary

Land Matters is a growing multidisciplinary consultancy delivering Civil Engineering, Surveying, Planning, Project Management and Property Advisory services across a range of land development and infrastructure projects. We are seeking an Intermediate or Senior Civil Designer to join our team in Ōtaki.

You'll work with Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers to design and deliver land development projects from concept through construction, using 12d and AutoCAD, and support drone and digital

Qualifications

• 4+ years of civil design and drafting experience.
• Strong 12d experience.
• AutoCAD proficiency.
• Experience across land development and subdivision.
• Three waters design experience.
• Knowledge of NZ engineering standards

Responsibilities

• Civil design and drafting using 12d and AutoCAD.
• Land development, subdivision and infrastructure design.
• Stormwater, wastewater and water supply design.
• Earthworks and roading design.
• Preparation of engineering drawings, models and construction documentation.
• Assisting with topographical and as-built surveys.
• Drone data capture and processing using Propeller and Pix4D software.
• Supporting GPS machine control and digital construction workflows.
• Coordination with clients, councils, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Supporting project delivery from concept through to construction
