Job summary

Nelson Marlborough Health is seeking a General Manager Medicine, ED and Paediatrics to provide strategic and operational leadership across a large, multi-service portfolio. You will partner with clinical leaders to deliver safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred care while driving workforce planning, financial performance and service development.

This permanent, full‑time role (1.0 FTE) is based in Nelson or Blenheim with regular travel between sites and occasional travel to other Health NZ

Qualifications

• Experience leading a large, multi-service portfolio with people leadership.
• Proven track record in major service redesign or culture change.
• Ability to partner with clinical leaders across professions.
• Leadership that prioritises psychological safety and development.
