Job summary

CartonCloud, a remote-first SaaS logistics software provider, is seeking a Director of Finance to lead strategic finance across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the US. You will own FP&A, treasury, investor-grade reporting, and controllership, reporting to the CEO and board, while guiding a small team in a scale-up environment.

This executive role requires hands-on ownership of budgeting, multi-entity financials, and SaaS metrics, with a clear path toward broader capital strategy and investor

Qualifications

• Demonstrated end-to-end FP&A ownership including budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, statutory reporting, audits and tax.
• Experience operating across multiple entities and jurisdictions, with covenants exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning & analysis for the group, including SaaS metrics and forecasting.
• Own budgeting end-to-end and department-level cost discipline.
• Board and management reporting, including financial packs and director questions.
• Manage cash, treasury, covenants, FX exposure and financing strategy.
• Oversee investor-grade reporting, data-room readiness and capital-market readiness.
• Lead controllership activities: month-end close, statutory reporting, audits, and tax across jurisdictions.
• Drive finance technology and automation while scaling the function.
• Mitigate risk with strong internal controls and insurance program.
