You’ll be joining a small team of Executive Assistants supporting this lead team. You'll be embraced as a well-respected member of the senior leadership team and feel empowered to speak up and contribute. As a business, we are constantly evolving and adapting and this may mean your Executive may change, providing you more experience and exposure to Mercury.
This role is Auckland-based and requires four days a week in our Newmarket office.
You’ll provide proactive, confidential and responsive support across the Chief Customer Officer’s office and Customer Leadership Team. This includes:
Occasional travel to other locations or work outside normal business hours may be required to support events or stakeholder activities.
You’ll be an experienced Executive Assistant who has supported at a senior executive level and is comfortable operating in a large, complex organisation. Experience within a significant retail or customer-focused business would be an advantage. This is a role where judgement matters. You’ll need to be able to look across a long list of competing requests, work out what needs attention first and confidently challenge or reset priorities when required.
You’ll also bring:
You’ll work closely with a direct, delivery-focused leadership team, so being comfortable having clear conversations about priorities, deadlines and what can realistically be achieved will be important.
