Job summary

Tradestaff is seeking an experienced Drainage Operator to work on projects across Tauranga and the wider Tauranga area. If you can operate machinery confidently and deliver precise final trim work, this is a great opportunity for ongoing site work with a supportive team.

You will operate drainage machinery, install underground water and stormwater systems, perform maintenance, and complete repairs to underground drainage infrastructure while adhering to safe site practices.

Qualifications

• Valid Full Class 4 NZ driver licence.
• Current WTR endorsements.
• Proven drainage experience.
• Strong final trim experience.
• Ability to operate machinery near underground services.
• Commitment to safe site practices.
• Reliable with a solid work ethic.

Drainage Operator

We’re looking for an experienced Drainage Operator to join projects across Tauranga and the wider Tauranga area. If you’re confident operating machinery, have solid drainage experience, and can deliver accurate final trim work, this is a great opportunity to get stuck into ongoing work with a supportive team.

Location: Tauranga and wider Tauranga area

Start date: Immediate start

Pay rate: $34–$38 per hour, depending on experience

What you'll be doing

• Operating machinery on drainage projects
• Installing underground water systems
• Installing and maintaining storm watersystems

• Carrying out repairs to underground drainage infrastructure
• Completing accurate final trim work
