Job summary

Red Badge Group is seeking casual Event Security staff in Wellington to help deliver safe, memorable experiences at concerts, sports and community events. You will welcome guests, monitor venues and perform checks while representing the company with professionalism.

Candidates should have a clean criminal record, be eligible to work in NZ and be 18+, with security experience or related customer service background preferred. Flexible shifts include evenings, weekends and public holidays.

• Eligible to work in NZ and be 18+.
• Must hold NZ COA security licence or be eligible to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests with friendly, positive energy.
• Monitoring venue activity and stepping in when needed.
• Carrying out bag checks, screening and ticket checks.
• Guiding crowds and helping people move safely through event spaces.
• Managing gate and vehicle access with confidence.
• Communicating clearly to de-escalate situations.
• Ensuring each event feels safe, smooth and enjoyable.
• Representing Red Badge Group with pride and professionalism.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Making sure every event feels safe, smooth, and enjoyable
• Representing Red Badge Group with pride and professionalism

What You’ll Bring

• A clean criminal record
