Flock Events in Central Otago is seeking a Casual Event Delivery Crew member to join our hands-on team for event setups and pack-downs. You will be the on-site contact for clients and crew, ensuring safe, timely delivery and exceptional service across weddings and events in New Zealand.

Flexible hours with weekend work are required, and a Class 2 driver’s license is essential; manual driving is a bonus. This role offers dynamic, fast-paced work with opportunities to grow within the team.

Flock Events is New Zealand’s largest luxury event furniture hire company, delivering curated, high-end furniture and décor for weddings, corporate events, festivals, and private functions across the country.

We're on the hunt for a Casual Event Delivery Crew in Central Otago – hands‑on team players who are switched on, enjoy variety and take pride in getting the job done right.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be loading trucks, working on pack‑ins and pack‑downs at events and helping our team to deliver the standard of experience our clients expect from Flock.

Casual role (hours vary depending on event schedule and seasonality)

Winter is generally quieter, with peak season ramping up from September onward

Flexible availability is essential (weekend work required)

Full Driver’s License is non-negotiable (Class 2 licence & ability to drive manual is a bonus)

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Leading small teams on site setups and pack‑downs

Acting as the on‑site point of contact for our customers and our team during jobs

Making sure that events are delivering smoothly, efficiently and safely.

Ensuring that trucks are loaded/unloaded safely

Maintaining a high standard of care when handling furniture and equipment

Problem‑solving on the go and adapting to changing timelines

Delivering professional customer service on‑site

Providing clear communication between crew and management

What We’re Looking For

A natural leader who can step up and take charge when needed

Reliable, respectful, proactive, and takes ownership of their work

Practical and confident with loading and packing trucks

Calm under pressure and able to think on their feet

Physically capable and comfortable with hands‑on work

Strong communicator who works well with different personalities

Well‑presented and confident around clients

Previous experience in events, logistics, or team leadership preferred
