JobsTrackR in New Zealand is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join its team and support a strong pipeline of upcoming projects. You will hands-on estimate across a range of commercial builds, reviewing plans, bills of quantities and tender documents.

The role requires robust costing skills, ability to interpret drawings, manage multiple tenders, and engage with subcontractors and suppliers. Strong organisational, communication and commercial awareness are essential to deliver

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Construction Estimator.
• Strong understanding of construction costs and methodology.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.

• Relevant construction, building or estimating qualifications advantageous.

Responsabilités

A growing construction business is looking for an experienced Estimator to join its team and support a strong pipeline of upcoming projects.

This is a hands-on estimating role suited to someone who understands the construction process and can confidently work through project documentation, costs, subcontractor pricing and tender submissions.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and commercially sound estimates and tenders across a range of construction projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing plans, specifications and tender documentation
• Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities
• Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Preparing tender submissions and supporting documentation
• Identifying project costs, risks, exclusions and opportunities
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, clients and internal project teams
• Maintaining estimating schedules and tender deadlines
• Reviewing scope and ensuring estimates accurately reflect project requirements
• Supporting the handover from estimating into project delivery
• Contributing to pricing strategy and commercial decision-making

About You

The ideal candidate will have:
