Job summary

The Labour Supply Co in Auckland seeks an Intermediate Estimator to price large earthworks projects from concept through tender and to review drawings, specs and scope to build accurate estimates. You will liaise with site teams and project stakeholders to firm up assumptions and pricing.

Join a busy civil contractor delivering major earthworks across the region, with immediate start on a full-time basis and a focus on getting the numbers right first time.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating civil or earthworks projects at an intermediate level.
• Strong understanding of earthworks methodology, plant, and productivity rates.
• Sharp attention to detail and confidence backing your numbers.
• SiteSafe certification or willingness to obtain before starting.
• Full working rights in NZ.

What you'll be doing:

• Pricing large earthworks projects from concept through to tender
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and scope documents to build accurate, competitive estimates
• Liaising with site teams and project stakeholders to firm up assumptions and pricing
• Contributing to a growing pipeline of civil and earthworks work

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience estimating on civil or earthworks projects (intermediate level – you don't need 20 years, but you know your way around a tender)
• Strong understanding of earthworks methodology, plant, and productivity rates
• Sharp attention to detail and confidence backing your numbers
• A current SiteSafe (or willingness to complete before starting)
• Full working rights in NZ
