We offer a variety of programmes, including English Language Development (ELD) and New Zealand Certificates in English Language (NZCEL). Now, we are seeking for qualified ESOL teachers who can use their expertise to help student thrive.
Requirements for the position:Relevant Bachelor Degree and above;
Having at least 5 years of relevant teaching experience
Holding a Cambridge CELTA or an equivalent qualification
Certificate of completion on Unit Standard of 4098, 11551, and 11552 will be an advantage but not essential
Be a professional, organised, and adaptive team player
Holding New Zealand residence visa or a valid work visa
What you’ll be doingCreating a conducive online or/and offline learning environment for learners by utilising a variety of teaching techniques
Marking tests, assignments and other assessments and recording students’ attendance and performance electronically
Contributing to quality initiatives to continuously improve the teaching skills, methods and overall operational functions of the department.
Completing all administrative tasks related to the position.
Ensuring that all teaching materials, assessments and student record data are made available to the Institute for filing and centralisation.
Assisting the academic administrator with both pre- and post-moderation of assessments to the standard expected by the internal QMS of the Institute and NZQA (for external moderation purposes).
