The University of Canterbury invites applications for a full-time, continuing Lecturer – Teaching and Administration in the School of Earth and Environment with expertise in environmental science. You will design and deliver classroom, laboratory and field teaching, and mentor students across undergraduate programmes.

Applicants should hold a Masters in environmental science ( PhD preferred) with proven lab/field teaching experience and a commitment to inclusive, student-centred learning.

Qualifications

• Masters in environmental science or closely related discipline with lab/field teaching experience.
• PhD preferred for advancement and research integration.

Responsibilities

• Lecture, coordinate, and support large undergraduate courses.
• Provide lab and field work support to students.
• Assist with online learning platforms and course information sharing.
• Support pastoral care and connect students to university services.
