Job summary

Qualifications

• A PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
• Emerging publication record in quality peer‑reviewed journals, conference proceedings, or other recognised outputs.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, demonstrating, or supporting learning in a tertiary education environment.
• Proven ability to design and deliver engaging learning experiences and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Research interests aligned to areas such as power systems, power electronics, wireless communications, RF engineering, embedded systems, signal processing, machine learning, or related fields.
• Evidence of developing a research portfolio and building collaborative relationships with academia or industry.

Responsibilities

• Teaching, research and academic service focused in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
• Design, develop and deliver teaching in Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Mechatronic disciplines.
• Coordinate courses, manage teaching teams, resources and budgets.
• Develop a research programme, supervise postgraduate students and disseminate research with impact.
• Attract and secure research income; collaborate across the University and with industry.
