Job summary

Stevenson Aggregates (a subsidiary of Fulton Hogan) in Auckland is seeking an Environmental Advisor to help drive best practice environmental management across quarry operations. You will monitor compliance, support the environmental team, and work with quarry teams and external stakeholders to ensure environmental standards are met.

Regular travel will be required between Drury and Penrose offices, as well as sites across Auckland, Waikato and the Bay of Plenty to support environmental

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification, ideally in Environmental Science, and ideally some experience in environmental compliance.
• Working knowledge of environmental legislation and standards, with the confidence to apply that knowledge in the real world.
• Strong planning, organisation, problem-solving, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Great communication skills and a collaborative, low ego approach to working with people at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on environmental compliance across quarry operations.
• Support sustainability initiatives and ensure adherence to environmental legislation.
• Collaborate with environmental and operations teams to drive best-practice practices.
• Travel regularly between Drury, Penrose and sites across Auckland, Waikato and the Bay of Plenty.
