Stevenson Aggregates, a Fulton Hogan subsidiary, is seeking an Environmental Advisor in Auckland to drive best practice environmental management across quarry operations. The role supports compliance, monitoring, auditing, and sustainability initiatives while coordinating with the broader environmental team and site managers.
The successful candidate will monitor risks, keep systems sharp, and collaborate with external stakeholders.
We are on the lookout for an Environmental Advisor to join our team in Auckland and help drive best practice environmental management across our Quarry operations.
We’re looking for an Environmental Advisor to help keep our quarry operations compliant, efficient, and moving forward. This is a hands‑on role where you will work closely with the wider environmental team, quarry teams, managers, and external stakeholders to support environmental compliance across the business. You will be trusted to spot risks early, keep systems sharp, and help turn good intentions into good work.
You will work alongside experienced teams to support a range of projects in an environment that’s rewarding, challenging, and genuinely good to be part of. This role includes monitoring, reporting, auditing, and supporting sustainability initiatives, while staying across environmental legislation and compliance requirements.
Regular travel will be required between our Drury and Penrose offices, as well as sites across Auckland, Waikato and the Bay of Plenty as needed.
You are a proactive and passionate Environmental Advisor who thrives in a dynamic, hands‑on environment. You bring strong communication and problem solving skills along with a solid understanding of environmental legislation and compliance practices. With a relevant tertiary qualification preferably in environmental science and a full class 1 driver licence, you’re ready to hit the ground running.
You are organised, detail orientated and confident managing multiple tasks and priorities. Most importantly you are someone who leads by example and is committed to driving environmental excellence across all levels of the business.
