Job summary

Auckland Girls' Grammar School invites applications for a permanent English teacher to join our English faculty. We are seeking a dedicated, student-centered educator to teach Secondary (Years 7–15) and support NCEA Level 3 where possible.

The successful candidate will bring enthusiasm for girls’ education, adapt to a multicultural environment, and contribute to our school's extra-curricular programme. This is a full-time position commencing 28 January 2027.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, student-focused and self-driven English teaching role.
• Experience with Secondary (Years 7–15) and NCEA beneficial.
• Interest in girls’ education and multicultural settings is a plus.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, student focused and self-driven permanent English teacher to join our friendly English faculty. The ability to teach up to and including NCEA Level 3 will be an advantage.

A particular interest in girls’ education, experience in working in a multi-cultural environment and a willingness to be involved with our school's extra-curricula programme will be added advantages.

This is a full-time, permanent position beginning on 28 January 2027.
