You will teach across the Level 6 New Zealand Diploma in Engineering and Level 7 Bachelor of Engineering Technology, bringing real-world industry connections into the learning experience.

You don’t need teaching experience to be successful; if you have strong industry knowledge, a passion for sharing your knowledge, and enjoy developing others, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• An engineering qualification is required.
• Current industry experience and strong technical capability are essential.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are important.
• A passion for sharing knowledge and supporting the next generation of engineers is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of Core Engineering courses.
• Develop engaging teaching resources and assessments.
• Support and assess students as they build their technical skills.
• Bring current industry practice and real-world experience into the classroom.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and industry to create innovative learning opportunities.
• Help shape the future of the Engineering profession in Aotearoa New Zealand.
