Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Assistant Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team and deliver projects involving telecom DC power, rectifiers, UPS, BESS, solar and hybrid energy solutions.

This hands-on leadership role covers engineering design, project execution, pre-sales support and team mentoring, with a focus on meeting IEC/IEEE standards and driving quality across design documents and drawings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years of relevant telecom power and energy systems experience with engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team and projects under the Engineering Manager.
• Design DC Power, Rectifier, UPS, BESS and Solar systems.
• Prepare SLDs, wiring diagrams, cabinet layouts, GA drawings.
• Design power distribution systems and equipment cabinets.
• Prepare BOQ, material take-offs, costing and proposals.
• Provide pre-sales support including sizing and product selection.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations and Service.
• Ensure designs comply with IEC/IEEE standards.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Mentor engineers and improve processes and standards.
