Job summary

Vector Limited is driving the future of energy with Diverge, a cloud-native SaaS platform built on AWS serverless technologies. As Engineering Manager for VTS, you will lead a high-performing team, balancing people leadership with technical delivery to ensure production reliability while evolving with product and commercial goals.

At Vector, you’ll help shape the platform’s future, partnering with Product, Delivery and Customer teams to deliver scalable, live solutions in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Proven engineering leadership experience, including leading leaders.
• Strong technical background (Java and/or .NET), with ability to dive into code when needed.
• Experience with AWS serverless, SaaS and cloud-native architectures.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, DevOps and agile practices.
• Experience balancing delivery with reliability and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an engineering team, supporting recruitment, coaching and growth.
• Drive delivery across the full lifecycle (build, test, deploy, support).
• Partner with Product, Delivery and Customer teams to align technology with business needs.
• Provide leadership across Professional Services and Sustaining Engineering for live platform performance.
• Embed DevOps practices to improve reliability and incident response.
• Promote continuous improvement across engineering practices.
• Shape the future of the engineering function balancing delivery with scale and innovation.
