Auror Limited is seeking an Engineering Lead for Subject Recognition on Prem to guide an on-site team building and operating a face recognition platform. You will ensure robust detection pipelines, edge devices, and vendor model integration with strong focus on reliability and privacy.

Lead a high-performing team, define healthy deployment metrics, and govern model generations while coordinating with Product and Trust & Safety to balance accuracy and risk.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core with modern frameworks.
• Experience with distributed and edge systems in cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to reason about performance, reliability and privacy in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering the Subject Recognition On-Prem team and set technical direction.
• Own estate health definitions per camera/server/site with product and support.
• Own model upgrade governance, calibrations and rollout strategy.
• Drive operational excellence: observability, incident response and reducing toil.
• Grow and mentor a high-performing engineering team.
• Champion responsible, privacy-conscious engineering across Risk Detection.
• Embed agentic AI practices and compliant governance for LLMs.
