Auror is expanding its ASR software engineering team to own and evolve edge recognition capabilities across global stores. This role focuses on making the estate observable, reliable and upgradeable at scale, while developing new detection and AI capabilities as technology evolves.

You'll work with product, engineering and commercial teams across edge devices and Auror’s cloud, shaping how the edge AI platform performs, debugs, and scales, with strong emphasis on latency, accuracy and resilience.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience across software, systems or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience owning production systems on devices or external infrastructure.
• Strong fundamentals in building and operating edge and cloud capabilities.

Mansioni

• Designing and building new subject recognition capabilities using off the shelf SDKs and 3rd party integrations, across on-camera processing, in-store servers and cloud.
• Building comparison harnesses and evaluation tooling to quantify model performance with evidence for production releases.
• Designing observability through tracing, logging, metrics and alerting for remote environments.
• Improving the reliability and resilience of the edge estate and debugging complex production issues.
• Integrating third-party SDKs and hardware dependencies with vendors as needed.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for artefacts deployed to devices across the estate.
• Working in .NET and C# while collaborating across Product, Engineering and commercial teams.
