Job summary

Air New Zealand is seeking an Engineering Delivery Enablement Specialist to drive complex projects from planning to delivery, aligning safety, quality, timelines and budget. You will coordinate aircraft modifications and strategic initiatives, liaising with Fleet Engineering, CAMO, Maintenance Planning and Supply Chain.

The role requires 3+ years in engineering or project delivery within regulated settings, strong PM skills, and excellent stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in engineering, project or programme delivery in aviation, aerospace, manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Ability to coordinate complex projects across multiple teams while delivering quality outcomes.
• Strong PM skills including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and governance.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders and navigate technical challenges.
• Proactive problem-solving to improve processes and deliver practical solutions.
• Relevant Engineering, Project Management or Aviation Management qualification or equivalent experience. Exposure to aircraft modifications, continuing airworthiness or aviation regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects and programmes from planning through to delivery within safety, quality, timelines and budget.
• Develop integrated project plans aligning milestones, resources and dependencies.
• Coordinate engineering changes, aircraft modifications and strategic initiatives with compliance to aviation regulations.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and financial performance with clear reporting.
• Bring together engineering, operational and external stakeholders to resolve challenges and deliver shared outcomes.
• Champion smarter ways of working and improve project delivery processes across Engineering and Tech Ops.
