Job summary
Fisher & Paykel Appliances in Auckland seeks an experienced Technical Leader to drive engineering capability within the Product Development organisation. You will lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, shaping capability and knowledge across the function to meet current and future product priorities.
Reporting to the product leadership, you’ll deploy resources, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure technical decisions align with customer and business outcomes while nurturing
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams.
- Strong ability to translate product goals into functional plans and outcomes.
- Demonstrated capability to connect technical decisions with business and customer value.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of technical specialists to enable high performance.
- Grow and maintain the technical knowledge of the functional area for future use.
- Translate product priorities into clear functional and individual goals.
- Deploy people and resources against current and future product development needs.
- Collaborate across engineering and other functions to resolve challenges and deliver outcomes.
- Ensure technical decisions align with project goals and deliver value to customers.
