Job summary

Tiaki Wai Limited in Petone is seeking an Engineer, Land Development to shape water infrastructure for the Wellington region. You will collaborate with developers, councils, consultants and internal teams to ensure sustainable, resilient water networks that support growth.

Five years post-qualification experience in Three Waters or Land Development or Surveying is expected. A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) is required, along with knowledge of the RMA and district planning procedures and three

The fulltime remuneration midpoint for the role is $104,884.25 (including KiwiSaver) annually depending on skills and experience.

The opportunity

As an Engineer Land Development, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our region by ensuring new developments are supported by sustainable, resilient, and well-planned water infrastructure. Working closely with developers, councils, consultants, and internal teams, you'll provide expert engineering advice that balances growth needs with the long-term performance of our water networks.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Tiaki Wai at the beginning of a new chapter for water services in the Wellington metropolitan area. About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
  • A minimum five years post qualification experience preferably in Three Waters or Land Development or Surveying
  • A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
  • Working knowledge of the Resource Management Act and district planning procedures
  • Knowledge of three Waters Engineering Standards and Specifications
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service ethos
  • Ability to work in a collective and collaborative environment
