Job summary

Tiaki Wai is seeking an Engineer Land Development to help shape the Wellington region by ensuring new developments are supported by sustainable water infrastructure. You will work closely with developers, councils, consultants, and internal teams to provide expert engineering guidance that balances growth with long-term network performance.

This permanent Petone-based role offers customer-facing impact, strong collaboration, and opportunities to influence decisioning for generations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in Three Waters, Land Development or Surveying.
• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).
• Working knowledge of the Resource Management Act and district planning procedures.
• Knowledge of Three Waters Engineering Standards and Specifications.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service ethos.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

We will consider full time or part-time hours for this permanent position.

The fulltime remuneration midpoint for the role is $104,884.25 (including KiwiSaver) annually depending on skills and experience

About You
