Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Canterbury – Christchurch, South Island, invites an experienced Registered Nurse with expert endoscopy knowledge to join the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Unit as Associate Clinical Nurse Manager at Christchurch Hospital.

The unit performs 14,000+ diagnostic and interventional endoscopy procedures annually and serves as a tertiary referral centre with research activity, teaching, and innovation.

Qualifications

Registered with the Nursing Council of NZ with a current APC.
Strong leadership experience with effective interpersonal skills.
Expert knowledge in endoscopy nursing.
Ability to manage complex situations with an innovative approach.
Currently hold or be working towards a relevant Post Graduate qualification.

Responsibilities

Provide effective leadership on the floor in the endoscopy unit.
Support staff and collaborate with the senior nursing team.
Contribute to quality improvements and patient care.
Operate within the unit's scope and after-hours on-call framework.
