Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Southern, Christchurch, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with expert endoscopy knowledge to join the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Unit as Associate Clinical Nurse Manager. The unit performs 14,000+ diagnostic and interventional endoscopy procedures yearly and covers both secondary and tertiary referrals for the South Island.

The role involves dynamic leadership, ensuring quality patient care, and supporting staff in a busy, purpose-built facility.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC.
• Strong leadership experience with highly effective interpersonal skills.
• Expert knowledge and experience in the endoscopy nursing specialty.
• Currently hold or be working towards a relevant Post Graduate qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership on the floor in the endoscopy unit, supporting staff and collaborating with senior nursing team.
• Drive quality improvements and ensure optimum patient care in endoscopy.
