Job summary

Medtronic in Auckland seeks an experienced Territory Manager to promote and sell Endoscopy products across public and private sectors, both virtually and face-to-face. You will drive territory revenue, build strong customer networks, and deliver against sales targets while maintaining a professional company image.

The role requires 6+ years in medical device sales, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. Proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce.com is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years sales experience in medical devices or pharma sectors.
• Proven success in achieving sales targets and relationships with hospital networks.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel as required.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce.com is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan work to achieve or exceed sales targets while representing Medtronic professionally.
• Seek new business by planning meetings with key personnel.
• Understand customer needs and offer credible, mutual outcomes for patients and the company.
• Provide education and training to clinical end users and hospital staff.
• Manage customer queries professionally with timely follow-up and after-hours support as needed.
• Maintain high product and technical knowledge.
• Gather market intelligence on product, price, promotion and discounts.
• Recognize competitive products and differentiate Medtronic offerings.
• Develop and expand territory management and selling skills; all activities use Salesforce.com.
