Job summary

Kāinga Ora is seeking an End User Support Engineer to deliver end-to-end support across our organisation. You will be the first point of contact for end users, handling incidents from start to finish and ensuring a seamless technology experience for our people.

In this role, you’ll work across Service Desk and Field Support, providing Level 1 and 2 support for hardware, software and digital workplace technologies while delivering outstanding customer service to Kāinga Ora employees.

Qualifications

  • Proven technical troubleshooting across end-user hardware, software, OS, and business apps.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to own incidents and drive to resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting service levels in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating with external vendors/service providers for seamless delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 and 2 end-user support across hardware, software and digital workplace technologies.
  • Manage incidents and service requests from initial response to resolution.
  • Support escalation and resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Occasional onsite visits and remote/phone support for users.

Kāinga Ora are looking for an experienced and customer-focused End User Support Engineer to provide exceptional technical support across our organisation. In this dynamic role, you'll be the trusted first point of contact for end users, delivering end-to-end support and ensuring a seamless technology experience for our people. As an End User Support Engineer, you'll provide both Level 1 and Level 2 support across a broad range of hardware, software and digital workplace technologies. You'll manage incidents and service requests from initial response through to resolution, while also supporting the escalation and resolution of more complex technical issues. Working across both Service Desk and Field Support, you'll combine strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a genuine passion for customer service. Whether supporting users via phone, remote tools or onsite visits, you'll play a key role in keeping our technology services running smoothly and efficiently

We’re looking for a customer-focused Service Desk or End User Technology support professional who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for delivering exceptional support experiences. You'll be confident working across both Service Desk and End User Technology environments, in particular with Microsoft technologies. Your ability to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and build positive relationships with users at all levels of the organisation will be your key to success. Our End User Support Engineers are approachable and thrive on delivering outstanding customer service to all Kainga Ora employees. What you'll bring:

  • Proven technical troubleshooting expertise across end-user hardware, software, operating systems, and business applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of incidents, identify root causes, and drive issues through to successful resolution
  • The capability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities while consistently meeting service level expectations in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Experience collaborating with external vendors and service providers to ensure seamless service delivery and positive business outcomes.
