Job summary

Service Foods Ltd is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our National Support team in Mangere. This hands-on role owns end-to-end payroll and provides payroll-related HR administration support within a values-driven, family-owned environment.

You will work closely with business leaders and employees across 800 staff, ensuring accurate, timely processing and adherence to NZ payroll legislation while contributing to process improvements and system enhancements with the People & Culture

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ NZ payroll experience.
• Tertiary qualification in business, administration, or accounting.
• Experience with payroll systems and compliance with NZ legislation.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll for ~800 employees.
• Maintain HR administration records and respond to payroll queries.
• Prepare payroll reconciliations, reporting, and IRD filings.
• Support HR projects and system improvements within People & Culture.
