Job summary

H3Zoom builds building-inspection and compliance software. We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to own both production apps and the AWS infrastructure that serves them, including the React SPA, Django backend, CommonDB service, and the hosting pipelines.

You'll bring structure, modern engineering practices, and autonomy to shape the stack going forward. You’ll work across frontend and backend, real-time features, and DevOps, with security-minded builds and a track record of shipping robust,

Qualifications

• Strong React experience with CRA, code-splitting, hashed assets and SPA routing.
• Solid Python/Django experience; familiarity with Django Channels, ASGI, and WebSockets is a plus.
• Working knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, S3, CloudFront, ALB, ACM, IAM, VPC, Route 53.

Responsibilities

• Frontend: Maintain and evolve the React SPA, with code-split bundles, OpenLayers maps, and CAD/BIM viewing integrations.
• Backend & real-time: Extend Django backend and Channels real-time layer via Daphne and Nginx.
• Async processing: Own Celery, Celery Beat, and Flower for background and scheduled tasks.
• Integrations: Maintain Node/Express CommonDB service and external integrations including Autodesk APS/Forge, Stripe, and Google Maps.
• Cloud & DevOps: Manage AWS footprint in ap-southeast-1 with automated deployment pipelines.
• Take ownership of the source code: import repos into Git and establish proper branching workflows.
