Madisonrecruitment is seeking a motivated Project & Operations Engineer for Papakura and Franklin to join a growing South Auckland infrastructure services business delivering stormwater, wastewater, drainage and civil works. You’ll own projects end-to-end, assess requirements, prepare quotes, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and liaise with clients while maintaining safety and quality.

• NZ Level 7 engineering qualification.
• 3–7 years’ experience within civil construction, infrastructure, utilities, drainage or related sector.
• Strong technical understanding and practical problem-solving ability.
• Sound numerical skills and commercial awareness.
• Experience preparing estimates, quotations or scopes of work, or interest in developing these skills.
• Good knowledge of New Zealand construction, regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and the confidence to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Assess project requirements and develop practical solutions.
• Prepare quotations, estimates and scopes of work.
• Plan labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Coordinate multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.
• Manage variations, project costs and commercial outcomes.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Support projects from initial enquiry through to final handover.
