Job summary

Care on Call is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in Te Awamutu and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily tasks, companionship and help clients achieve their personal goals in the comfort of their homes.

You should have a clean full driver’s license, Health and Wellbeing Level 2, and previous experience with similar clients. The role offers supportive team, training, and opportunities to grow with NZQA recognised qualifications.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current, clean full driver’s licence is required.
• Health and Wellbeing Level 2 or higher.
• Previous caregiver/support worker experience with similar clients.
• Legal right to work in NZ.

Responsibilities

• Personal cares (showering, toileting, dressing).
• Passive exercises and stretches for clients.
• House work and meal preparation to support daily living.
• Transport clients in their vehicle to appointments and events.
