Job summary

Care on Call is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in the community between Masterton and Featherston. You will assist with personal cares, light housekeeping, driving clients to activities, and social engagement as part of a caring team.

Applicants should have a Level 2 Health and Wellbeing qualification (or equivalent), reliable transport and a current, clean full driver’s licence. Regular availability and a friendly, proactive approach are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Health and Wellbeing qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous caregiver/support worker experience with similar clients preferred.
• Excellent communication and community skills.
• Reliable, punctual and honest with a caring attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal cares (showering, toileting, dressing).
• Assist with passive exercises and stretches.
• Help with housework and meal preparation.
• Drive clients to appointments, work meetings and community events.
