Spectrum Care in Auckland seeks a part-time Community Support Worker for 32 hours per week, supporting adults with disabilities to live great lives. You will assist with daily living tasks and promote participation in the community, work, or education.

Ideal candidates show empathy, energy, resilience, and strong English communication. A NZ driver license and ability to pass a NZ police check are required; vocation training support is available.

Qualificações

• Interest in attaining a Community Support Worker Level Three or above while you work.
• Experience supporting people with disabilities or mental health is desirable but not required.
• Reliability, commitment and passion for helping people.
• Must be able to pass NZ police check.

• Assist with personal activities and daily living tasks.
• Support community participation, socialising, work or education activities.
• Provide calm, supportive help in various situations.
• Explain and negotiate with family, colleagues and the person supported.
